About Us

Established in 1996 and based in Aberdeen

Grampian First Aid Training Services was established in 1996 and is based in Aberdeen, originally providing first aid training to Primary School pupils and Education Establishments in the North East, we now provide all levels of first aid training across Scotland.

The School First Aid Training Services CIC was formed into a separate company at the start of 2024 allowing us to focus on our commercial courses delivered under the HSE, OfSted, SYFA or Qualsafe.

Most of our courses are delivered under contract to organisations in the North East and National Companies.  We deliver training to companies on an in-house basis for groups of staff as well as courses open to all.

All of our Trainers have had hands on experience dealing with real life situations. This can be as Paramedics or First Responders with the Ambulance Service, Armed Forces, Nurses or with Voluntary Aid organisations.

We deliver open courses at our Training Centre in Aberdeen as well as in Lerwick and Fraserburgh.

Our Director (Tom Malcolm) has a background of over 40 years dealing with First Aid and trauma having started off in the Royal Army Medical Corp then with Voluntary Aid Society and Scottish Ambulance Service roles.
